Sauteed Tuna with Tomatoes and Potatoes

I woke up this morning and craved for the taste of this recipe. I remember my mom cooking this for breakfast. Whenever I miss her cooking I usually just call her up and ask her for the recipe.

This is a fast and simple recipe that you can whip up anytime of the day. It adds a little zing to your somewhat boring canned tuna. If you are not a fan of spicy food, you can use canned tuna flakes in oil instead.

Ingredients:

1 Can of Century Tuna Spicy in Oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium ripe tomato, chopped
1 pc. small-medium potato, cut into strips
1/3 cup water
2 Pinches of Salt

Cooking Steps:

Saute garlic and onion until slightly browned. Add in the potatoes and cook for 1 minute. Add in the tomatoes and cook until it can easily be squished. Add in the 1 can of Century Tuna. Add in a little water, about 1/3 cup. Let it simmer until potatoes are tender. Season with salt. Serve with fried rice or hot steamed rice.
