Cinnamon Apple Syrup

We had some left over apples and instead of putting it to waste I decided to make a syrup out of it. I'm always making french toast and pancakes for the kids. This will definitely be a good topping. I got this recipe from allrecipes.com and I am now sharing it in this blog.

Ingredients:
2 pieces Fuji Apple peeled, cored and sliced into small pieces
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tbsp powdered cinnamon
2 tablespoons water

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon and water. Stir to dissolve sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until apples are soft and syrup has thickened. Serve over pancakes, french toast or ice cream.
