Nilagang Mani (Boiled Peanuts)

My daughter loves snacking on boiled peanuts. Summer vacation means lots of snacking at home. So instead of giving your kids cookies and candies, try offering this one instead. Boiled peanuts is high in protein and fiber. I used to snack on this as a kid, now I enjoy cracking the shell and eating the nuts with my kids.






1 kg Peanuts with Shell
Water
Salt about 2 tbsp.


Wash peanuts well in running water. Place in a big pot. Add in some water and salt. Bring to a boil until peanuts are cooked through. Enjoy snacking!
