Creamy Beef and Mushroom
A special shout-out to my gorgeous sister-in-law Ate Mao, for sharing this recipe! This well-loved dish is ever present on the dining table during birthdays and other special occasions. Tender bite-sized pieces of beef, laced with creamy, garlicky, mushroom sauce, just thinking about it makes me hungry! There's something about this dish that's very comforting. It totally hits the spot and hugs you right back! May it find it's way to your tummy this Holiday Season!
Ingredients
1 kg beef sirloin, sliced thinly in bite sized pieces

2 cans of Mushroom pieces and stems (any brand)
1 can Cream of Mushroom (any brand)

2-3 tablespoons of Knorr Cream of Mushroom (powder)

Pinch of pepper
Pinch of pepper
In a pot, heat olive oil and butter together. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add in the beef and cook until it changes color. Add the beef bouillon, a pinch of pepper and 1 cup of water. Let it boil then simmer until beef is tender. Add more water as needed.
Once the beef is tender, add the mushrooms pieces and stems, and combine well. Stir in Campbell's Cream of Mushroom and Nestle Cream. For added taste and thickness, dilute 2-3 tablespoons of the Knorr Cream of Mushroom powder in about 1/2 cup water. Pour and stir well until it thickens. Adjust taste accordingly.
